I’m going to write this in English. Or at least try :-)
I don’t know where to begin. How should I ever be able to describe Mathilda and Simon’s wedding day with words? Lucky me I have many, many photos from their wedding day to complement the story telling. It was a wedding that really had it all.
I met the couple on the wedding fair Bröllopsfeber in Malmö this spring and Mathilda e-mailed me before I even got home that very day. I guess we just ”klicked”. :-)
Mathilda and Simon are probably one of the dearest, most relaxed and down to earth couple I’ve met in my career. Their whole wedding day was just pure love and I was truly touched by the relationships, the friendship, the laughing, the hugging…The day began at a local Skanör hotel, spending time with the girls; The bride, the maid of honor, who also was the twin sister of the bride, the bride’s mom and mother-in-law. The bride’s father fetched me by the hotel to go photograph the boys getting ready. It was a great fusion between Swedish and English traditions and the guests had traveled from the whole world to celebrate Mathilda and Simon’s love and marriage. Even though the bride got late for church (”Äsch! It won’t be a wedding without the bride”, she said and smiled – no worries at all! ) and the beach (where we were supposed to have our portrait session) was full of tourist sunbathing and swimming, it turned out just perfect. It was a sweet, loving and colorful wedding imprinted with personal details and genuine feelings. Skanör sure is a beautiful place and a perfect spot for a wedding. I’m so happy and forever grateful for being Mathilda & Simon’s wedding photographer and I wish them all the best of luck. :-)
I took a lot of photos this day and I would love to show you them all – but It would be a post to long for you to bare so here’s some of the greatest moments I collected during the day. Enjoy.
